Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for ALG courses are structured per subject or module. The fees outlined in the table below are for domestic students enrolling in 2023 and is subject to change.

We update our course fees annually each September for the following academic year. Note that fee increases typically occur yearly to account for delivery costs. Once they are published, these fees remain unchanged for a year. enrolling in subjects beyond the current fee schedule (for example, after 2023) should expect a different fee schedule to apply for that period.

Please refer to the schedule of fees for subject-specific details. All subjects follow the trimester dates unless otherwise stated. Some subjects are offered based on sufficient student demand at each campus. If you withdraw from a subject prior to the census date, no tuition fee will be charged for that subject.

Our online classes follow the same teaching structure as our on-campus delivery. Each academic year is divided into three study periods called trimesters, each comprising 11 weeks of teaching plus one exam week. A full-time study load includes 9 subjects per year (3 subjects per trimester). You should allocate 3 hours per subject for lectures and tutorials. Please remember that if you are an international student, you are required to undertake a full-time study load.

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)

Yes, apart from your live lectures, you should spend additional time each week on self-study to complete prescribed readings, practice skills, research, study, and allocate additional time for assessments. For Early Childhood Education students, we suggest 7 hours. For Counselling and Psychotherapy and Arts Therapy, we suggest 10 hours.

Policies & Procedures

This subject is the second in the developmental sequence of study underpinning knowledge and core skills of arts psychotherapy practice. The central activity of this subject is the students’ experiential practice of therapeutic skills in one-to-one therapeutic interactions with peers where students will share and work with their own ‘lived experience’ in sessions. Students are given the opportunity to apply interventions and processes to build and strengthen the therapeutic relationship, unpack the client’s difficulties and help the client to access and explore inner experience. Students will engage in reflection on their practice of micro-skills in integrative arts therapy.
